Well it’s December, also known as the final stretch of the 2020 hellscape. This week is for the bimbos. Let’s get into it.
Rise up Bimbos, Himbos and Thembos
Fashion is often on a 20 year cycle with recycled trends. According to @thepeytonproject, color palettes tend to be on a 10 year cycle, alternating between muted tones and bright colors. We are right on schedule for the resurgence of trends inspired by the 2000s and with that comes Bimbo inspo: explosions of pink, Juicy Sweatsuits, low rise jeans & low cut tops, etc, etc.
What i’ve learned from my brief journey into Bimbo TikTok is being a bimbo is seen as a positive thing. It is not just about an aesthetic but a general attitude.
“becoming a bimbo is the highest form of patriarchal satire”

I’ll let @chrissychlapecka greet you as you enter Bimbo TikTok:
There are many other videos commenting on Bimbos and the aesthetics. Bimbohood of 2020 appears to be inclusive to gender, sexuality, body types and race despite the typically heteronormative & very white stereotypes of the past.
3 international examples of bimbo speech:
Goth bimbos are a thing now too which I am ALL FOR..
Zhariya Smith does a great job of deep diving into the bimbo aesthetic in this commentary video:
This is an interesting aesthetic that never really went away and there is MUCH MORE to discuss within the topic of Bimbos as a whole. For now I am happy to scroll past the occasional bimbo related content on my feed.
And now a shrine to Dolly… How fitting for the woman embodying the ultimate classic bimbo aesthetic is here to save us from COVID-19 via vaccination funding.
Horse gone wild
This horse radiates the energy I feel at the end of a long day at work when I often get the zoomies and have to run around.
I made it to Possum TikTok
Most likely due to the fact that I have been obsessed with possum related products at work lately…
Hey girl
Hey girls….
It gave me flashbacks to this deranged performance art “tutorial”:
OCEANIC BLACK HOLES
In case your anxiety wasn’t already through the roof…
Aaaaand to end this week, here’s one of my favorite YouTube creators with a thematically pink thumbnail. She mostly creates sewing related videos but with an extremely chaotic editing style. There’s almost always a minimum of 4 different animals in each video too.
Thanks for reading week 8! See you next week!
Also hiiiiiii to everyone who signed up this past week <3
